The Bay Area Senior Softball Association (BASSA) is a non-profit senior (50+) softball organization. BASSA offers a daytime senior softball league in the Clear Lake / Pasadena area, and is always looking for new players to come enjoy some fun and competitive slow-pitch softball with us. Our league has men and women participating, with several teams divided into two divisions, based on skill levels; an East division (for older players) and a West division (for younger players). We play on the senior softball fields at Kipper Mease Sports Complex in Pasadena, TX.

The Spring season has ended and we will take a break during the summer. Games will start back up in the Fall starting Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025.
The Spring Softball season has come to a close and the winners of the Spring Games are; East Division - Team 1 - Tim Fuller, Manager with 14 Wins, 4 Losses and 1 Tie and West Division - Team 3 - Terry Frederick, Manager with 17 Wins, 8 Losses and 0 Ties. See the Standings here.

On Monday, May 19th, Richard Pritchard passed away from complications of Alzheimer's. Richard played in BASSA league games for many years. His memorial service will be June 13th, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Crosspoint Church, 1123 Old Alvin Road, Pearland, TX 77581.
