The Bay Area Seniors Softball Association (BASSA) is a non-profit senior (50+) softball organization. BASSA offers a daytime senior softball league in the Clear Lake / Pasadena area, and is always looking for new players to come enjoy some fun and competitive slow-pitch softball with us. Our league has men and women participating, with several teams divided into two divisions, based on skill levels; an East division (for older players) and a West division (for younger players). We play on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings on the senior softball fields at Kipper Mease Sports Complex in Pasadena, TX.
The BASSA Fall 2026 season games starts on September 8th, 2026 and will play through November 18th, 2026. If you are interested in joining or have any questions about our league, please contact us. Bay Area Seniors Softball Association Inc qualified as a 501(c)(4) organization on May 29th, 1996.
We are cancelling softball practice for Tuesday, September 1st, 2026 due to Storm Eduard passing through Houston on Tuesday morning. More than likely, if it rains hard, we won't have practice on Wednesday, September 2nd, either. Games start on Tuesday, September 8th. Jack Roden was a long time member of BASSA and passed away on August 22nd, 2026. The Visitation Service and Funeral will be at:

Visitation Service: Tuesday, Sept. 1st, 2026 at 5:00 - 7:00 pm
Funeral: Wednesday, Sept. 2nd, 2026 at 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
